Keeping it fresh

I just realized that I hadn't updated in a while. Actually, I wasn't sure if Fuzzy and I would be "retired" as the guest writers or if we were to continue.

As I sat down to write, I realized that I hadn't really had too much to write about of the fun and frisky nature but here are some random thoughts.

I was surprised (though I don't know why I was surprised) to learn that there really aren't very many nude beaches in the US. I am also surprised to learn that in many places it's in fact, illegal. I would think that as long as they were fairly secluded (away from the eyes of rubberneckers) and populated by consenting adults or loving consenting families that there wouldn't be a problem.

I realize that these thoughts are rather naive. I've always tried to live my life for myself. I rarely seek societal approval for my deeds and actions. I try not to hurt others but above all else I try to be myself. Sometimes that Self isn't the greatest person in the world, but hopefully I will always be true to my Self. Ah, but I digress.

I realize it's the overly puritanical tendencies of Anglo-Saxon America that make the nude beaches scarce. It's also what keeps Middle America so ...so...Middle America-ish.

A couple of weeks ago as the hubby and I were relaxing on our patio, our next door neighbor walked out his back door, turned around and mooned the hubby. (Darn-I was facing the wrong way). I could tell by my husband's face something had happened so I said, "What'd he do, moon you?" Through the laughter, hubby could barely get the words out but he was also shocked by the actions. I don't understand why. Perhaps I still have too much of a juvenille delinquent's sense of humor or maybe it's the cam girl exhibitionist tendencies but I just don't see what's wrong with it.

I just wish I could have seen it. Heh.
