In case you don't know I have a journal on Live Jounal that i update much more frequently than here, but I thought i'd cross post this here because its something that gets to the heart of everyone.

Some chick spammed one of the communities i am a member of with her cute little 19 yr old self dressed in jeans and a tank top with bottle blonde hair, tanning booth color, and webwhore makeup, all of which are attractive to the majority of porn surfers according to polls in the webmaster world. But 17 comments were posted and I thought they'd be about her spamming about her webcam but they weren't. The commentary was on how "common" looking she was. One guy even said...*running to get direct quote*...

Actually, she looks exactly like about 2/3 of every girl in the united states.

So if this is a random sampling of what "isn't" hot.. what is? I mean we covet what we see. If this is, as the commentary said, 2/3 of every girl in the us (i don't consider myself a "girl") then are we now longing for the different rather than the same?

I've always thought variety is the spice of life (and my world wall map was reflective of that diversity) and that one should never limit themselves to only dating "6' blondes with big tits and a big ass" or for those who say "i'll never date out of my race". You are missing all the other possiblities that could be awaiting you out there. Closing off the fact that while your "type" might be the perky brunette from 3 cubicles over, she's not going to give you the time of day but good old reliable redhead with sensible shoes and a killer smile will rock your world night after night.

The key is to NOT shut down your options.. look outside the bluejean'd buns.
